Service-Learning ideas for teaching Animal, Vegetable, Miracle

Barbara Kingsolver’s Animal, Vegetable, Miracle encourages us to eating healthy, environmentally responsible, locally grown foods. The Fremont Unified School District and the Fremont chapter of the American Association of University Women are working together to sponsor community book discussions and student service-learning projects related to the book’s message.  Service-learning ideas and content connections to the book can be found here: http://calservenetwork.org/aauw2009.html.
