Today is International Youth Day

August 12th is International Youth Day, a time to bring awareness to the issues that affect youth, and to celebrate the contributions they make to our communities and our world. "Youth action, inclusion, and their full participation are key to developing today's world for the generations of today and tomorrow and central to a sustainable existence," asserts the United Nations.
