Join Thousands of Young People Supporting Peace in Sudan

Whether you’re counting down the minutes to the National Service-Learning Conference only a few weeks away, or won’t be there this year, you can get involved with the Salam Project!

If you’re attending the conference, you’ll hear directly from two of the “lost boys” of Sudan as part of a keynote address on-site on Friday, March 26. But your preparation can start now. Join a growing community of teachers and students accessing a wealth of resources on the history and peace-making efforts in Sudan.

Next, visit the project in SmallWorlds and interact with hundreds of youth who have already joined in the conversation since the kick-off event Feb. 12, with a Sudanese peace activist and two youth leaders. Please join this worthwhile effort!

For information about all of the items above and all other conference details, please visit our website at www.nylc.org/conference.

We can’t wait to see you in San Jose!

Sincerely,

Amy Meuers
Conference and Events Director
