Just when you think you've seen everything when it comes to "going green," think again.

Mission High School students decided to hold a "green prom," with everything about it environmentally sound, including the sound.

The students held the event Friday at the Golden Gate Club, a waste-free facility. Everything was made from recycled or recyclable material, including the decorations and utensiles.

Environmental Service Learning Initiative helped out, providing student bicyclists who pedaled specially-equipped stationary bikes that provided the energy source for the DJ's equipment.
