Student Cabinet Leadership Positions

Please pass onto your students this incredible opportunity to get involved in leadership at the local level! The California Association of Student Councils (CASC), a leadership organization dedicated to empowering youth to take action, has divided the state into 12 regions each led by a team of students working together to oversee leadership programs and work with schools, students, and governments in the area. Student council/ASB and CASC experience are great but not required. CASC's region cabinet application for 2009-2010 is now available!

Who can be on region cabinet?

  • open to all high school students (grades 9-12)
  • perfect grades and long resumes are not required - we're looking for passionate, dedicated students who are ready to make a difference and dedicate their time to their positions

Why join your region cabinet?

  • develop friendships with other students from local schools
  • gain important experience planning events, collaborating on a team, working with government, and more
  • develop real-world leadership skills

Deadlines

  • Applications are due June 7, 2009
  • Interviews will take place either June 12, 13, or 14 depending on your region

For more information and a copy of the application, please visit our website at www.casc.net/regioncabinet or e-mail Executive Vice President Natalya Subbotina <natalya.subbotina@casc.net>. Thanks!
