Friends of Children with Special Needs Fundraiser

Friends of Children with Special Needs (FCSN) is a Bay Area nonprofit organization dedicated to providing support, friendship, and life skills training to developmentally disabled individuals and their families.  FCSN has a great track record of working with students of all abilities to design and organize high quality service-learning opportunities.  Please consider supporting FCSN’s ongoing program development by attending their Fundraising Gala- details below. 

 

Dear Friends and Family, You are cordially invited to join Friends of Children with Special Needs (FCSN) at the "Spreading Our Dream" Fundraising Gala on November 7, 2009, Saturday, 6:30PM at the Santa Clara Convention Center. With your help over the past few years, we have seen tremendous growth in our children and adult programs.  We have broadened our service coverage to thousands of special need individuals every year.  At this point, FCSN Fremont Center is operating at its full capacity.  With the excellent programs, we plan to transform the South Bay with another  "Dream Center" by 2010. Our dream of empowering special children/adults and their families, and building the village to provide life-long support is coming closer and closer to reality.  Due to today's poor economic climate and the tremendous funding cuts from the State, FCSN is in great need of your support to keep "Spreading Our Dream" and give hope to the special needs community.   This gala is the only fundraiser of the year and it promises to be a great evening of  children's performances, fine food and entertainment, and wonderful company and friendship. There will also be a featured live-cooking demonstration from the acclaimed celebrity chef Martin Yan of "Yan Can Cook".  There are many ways you can support us.  Join us at the gala and invite your friends, sponsor us, buy raffle tickets, or make a donation.  Any help will be greatly appreciated.
