Winter Solstice Planting Days ~ Eden Landing Ecological Reserve (Hayward/Union City)

Restoration Project with Save the Bay
Friday, December 18
9:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.

In partnership with the California Department of Fish and Game

Take a break from holiday shopping madness for a breath of fresh Bay air! We’re chipping away at our goal of 20,000 native plants and we need your help to keep digging along. We will be planting native seedlings like alkali heath and sea lavender that will make way for a healthy Bay. Other activities include helping with shoreline cleanup and site monitoring.

Due to the sensitive nature of the restoration site, space is limited and RSVP is requested. Please complete this online registration form for yourself or a group, and note that we will contact you with other potential project dates if we can't fit your group on the project date that you have requested.

If you need more information about this program or if you would like to schedule a private restoration program for your community group or employee team please contact Natalie LaVan at (510) 452-9261 x109 or email If you are interested in scheduling a school restoration program, visit:
